Dana joined the lab in the spring of 2019 as an MCDN graduate student. She was appointed to the RNA Training Grant for the 2019-2020 academic year (NIH T32).

Dana was most interested in how p53 family members cooperate and compete at the level of DNA, and defended her dissertation on January 10th, 2025.
